There Is Such A Thing As Female Impotence

When you think of impotence, males come to mind. It’s harder to understand female impotence. There’s not the obvious penis. It’s either standing up straight, or it isn’t; so, women can hide the fact that they’re doing the equivalent of what a man might do.

If a woman never has a desire to have sex, if she doesn’t ever orgasm, if she thinks up excuses to not have sex, if she fears that she won’t be able to perform ‘correctly’… those are the same things that a man might do in similar situations, so it’s termed female impotence.

Female impotence is harder to diagnose because a woman would have to be truthful to herself. The same things that cause a man to be impotent tend to also be the reasons that a woman isn’t potent. Drugs and alcohol abuse are two things that cause a drop in the interest to have sex. What? Everybody thinks that one should drink, and that it somehow enhances the whole process. It might make a woman ‘out of it’ enough that they might say ‘yes’ faster… but they’ll enjoy it less and be less aware during that process.

Sex is a thing where you have to be very aware, not bogged down and drained by some drug that’s sucking your attention somewhere else. Marijuana is oftentimes thought as being an enhancement to the sexual experience. Why would it be? It makes you not want to do anything. It makes you want to lie back and veg out. Why would such a drug help? Well, it doesn’t. It makes one’s focus be elsewhere, not on the job at hand.

Now, some drugs raise sexual interest such as Cocaine and (sometimes) LSD. LSD, however, can have a vastly different reaction and outcome, as well. One might feel intense sexuality, only to be thrown into a pit of fear the instant that one gets rejected or frightened in any way. Fear is not conducive to good sex-making.

Unfortunately, there’s no real cure for impotence. There are things which can make the whole experience be more enjoyable such as Viagra for men, or Provestra for women, but any drug also has side-effects that aren’t very pleasant.

About the only natural treatment for impotence is johimbe bark. Johimbe is the bark from a tree, and it has definitely been shown to combat the causes of impotence. It can help with female impotence, as well.

Johimbine is the chemical in johimbe that boosts the blood pressure, which sometimes causes male and female impotence to disappear for a time. Realize that this isn’t a thing that’s proven; but this herb is the only one that, over time, has shown itself to be a true aphrodisiac.

The impotence definition is “sexual inability: the inability of a male to perform sexual intercourse, usually because erection of the penis cannot be achieved or sustained.”

Don’t confuse female impotence with female infertility. Although sometimes a woman might become distraught because she can’t have children (for whatever reasons), that doesn’t tend to cause impotence.

Both male and female impotence sometimes are associated with extreme moods such as panic, fear, terror, anger or depression. Those feelings can be associated with food allergies, life experiences such as deaths in the family or the loss of one’s job, medications such as depression medications, or fears of performance.

Women can be just as frightened of performing during a sex act as men do. And, just as with men, they can internally retreat into a safe place, which means a distant place. Since sex needs people to be present and alive… this is not conducive to good sexual function.
